Moving into a new home can be both exciting and overwhelming — but don’t worry, Elite Property Management is here to help make your transition to Ames as smooth as possible. Whether you're new to town or just relocating across campus, here’s your go-to guide for preparing for move-in day, plus the best spots in Ames to grab all your must-have items.


Move-In Day Checklist

Before you unpack that first box, take a few minutes to check off these essentials:

1. Paperwork & Preparation

  • Review your lease documents
  • Confirm your move-in date and time
  • Schedule utility setup (electric, internet, etc.)
